My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this very sad time. I will always remember being part of that large group of kids skating on the rink your dad made in the back yard because it always meant your mom would make us all hot chocolate that no one could ever get enough of. WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS OUR SADNESS FOR YOUR LOSS, WE ARE HAVING A MASS SAID FOR YOUR MOM AT ST. GERARDS, PLEASE KNOW THAT OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
Chrissie, Todd and families – I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was one wonderful lady. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your dad, you and your families. I have thought back to our school days many times over the years and have warm wonderful memories of your moms generosity and loving kindness. Her being there right after school waiting to hear about the school day, generously including other neighbourhood kids, those hot home made buns just from the oven, oatmeal and sugar cookies with the best hot chocolate ever, after skating on the rink in your back yard. Your mom influenced how many of us fortunate neighbourhood kids raised our own children. Her memory will live on in all who have had the great fortune to know her. Donna
I will surely miss the love that she gave me and the great memories of cinnamon toast with tang in the mornings before school. Thank you for being the best second mom a person could ask for.
Thinking of everyone on this sad day
Love Mark

Hi John and family.
I just had a call from my sister Yen LU from Sault Ste Marie and she told me that Mrs. Maltman passed away, I am very sorry for your loss. My husband and I will be at her funeral tomorrow.
Love,
Oanh and family.
Mr. Maltman, Christine, Todd and families,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your wife and mother.
Lady Massa stayed with me on Monday night and we were catching up on everyone; your family included.
As one of the kids in the neighbourhood, I have great memories of your Mom. Skating in your backyard and then the most amazing hot chocolate no mother in the “P” patch could beat or match for that matter.
I still make the most wonderful lemon loaf and repeatedly get asked for the recipe. At the bottom of the recipe card it reads-recipe by Caroline Maltman.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Talk of her often, laugh at all the funny times…….she will never be fogotten.
…with deepest sympathy
Kim Shelleby-Tirkalas
