Obituary of JERRY – Carlos Dorion

July 30, 1985 – December 22, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, baby brother, dad, husband, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend Carlos on Wednesday December 22, 2010. Carlos’ favorite pastimes were baseball, hockey with Siksika Pee Wee 1995-1996, hunting, fishing, playing cards (250) and spending quality time with his sons, nieces and nephews. He enjoyed carpentry and various jobs. He made his Cursillio in May 2008, his theme was Cast a Stone. Carlos leaves to mourn his common-law wife, Shannon Daniels and beloved sons Greysen and Adam, stepsons Tito and Jadyn, his mother, Doreen Jerry (Oliver McMahon), sisters Linda (Gordon), Arlene, Betty (Harley), Jackie (Trent), Michelle and Shannon (Jesse); brothers Terry (Alana), Leslie (Carmella), Cameron (Alison), and Alvin (Sonya); special aunts Roberta Pelletier, Angelina Reinhart, adopted father Norman Running Rabbit, and special sister Donna Running Rabbit and also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and God parents, Marcella and Errol Olds. He will also be sadly missed by his relatives from Siksika Nation Jerry, Sitting Eagle, Leather, Running Bird, Scalp Lock, Brass, Weasel Head, Spring Chief, Running Rabbit, Duck Chief, Young, Wright, from Rocky Mountain House, Big Child, Red Calf; from Saskatchewan Swindlers, White Calf, from Rocky Boy U.S.A, Windy Boy, Standing Rock, Stump; from Morley, Twoyoungman and in-laws, Many Shots. He was predeceased by his father George Jerry, sister Aileen Twoyoungman and brother Bradley, grandparents Jim and Alpa Jerry, Paul & Josephine Weasel Head and Russell and Julia Wright Sr., also numerous aunts, uncles and relatives. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow Crowfoot Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB). The family wishes to extended their thanks to the Siksika FIRE and EMS, Stars Ambulance, Gleichen R.C.M.P. and Strathmore Victim Services.
