Condolences
We just finished our annual Mother’s Day AJYR Dressage Classic horse show yesterday. It was the first year without Irene competing. It brought back many fond memories of Irene who was always such a big supporter of dressage, and of junior riders in Alberta. Everyone rode so well, and our juniors did particularly well this year. I think Irene would have been proud of them all. We missed her.

Dear Ron and Chris,
So glad to have had the opportunity to spend time with Irene and learn from her
tremendous experience. I liked Irene a great deal; perhaps for her strength, perhaps for her dry humour, perhaps her dedication or maybe her triumphant spirit. Or perhaps just that twinkle in her eye and wide smile. So sorry. Will remember always.
On behalf of the Parkland Area Dressage community our consolences to you and your family. Irene was a great supporter of the sport; the riders, the horses and most recently as a Gold sponsor at the 2010 Parkland Dressage Festival. She will be missed at the Dressage events.
