Condolences
I am so saddened at the news of Glenn’s passing. He was one of the finest people I have ever known. Glenn made the world a better place for all who had the privilege to know him. Our family times at Panorama were some of the best times of my life. He will be missed by so many, but we are all changed in a good way for having known his “bright light.”
Take Care. You are all in my thoughts.
Susan
Sally, Shara, Lindsay & family,
I’m so sorry I was unable to see you at the farewell. Glenn was one of the great guys. While he was at CFCN I was doing sports at CFAC. We began bumping into one another at ski races and from that forged a friendship – we worked together on many of the World Cup events through the 80’s and 90’s. He was a wonderful down to earth, intelligent and caring man with a subtle sense of humor and he was a superb quiet leader.
I will remember him and those golden years forever. Best wishes to you all.

Shara and Lindsay,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, I have many fond memories mostly of his ribs at the cabin. I am also sorry that Mom and I weren’t able to come to his funeral, I wish that we could have, we are in California right now.
Take Care,
Erin

Sally, Shara and Lindsay,
So sorry for your loss. We are all thinking of you and remembering what a sweet, funny guy Glenn was.
Love Holly, Ian and family
My condolences to the family of Glenn.
He and I grew up together at Lyalta & Strathmore, than played in an orchestra for about 5 years, before we all went on to our adult lives. Others in dance band were Dennis Bazant, Allan Warrack, and Alvin Newell. We had a number of very memorable & fun times together. Glenn often looked half asleep on the drums as the dances went on. We were sort of the dance band of choice in the communities around Strathmore for years. We were first Tennessee Dennis & His Corn Huskers but later became The Sentimentalists, with Sentimental Journey as our theme song.
I just mentioned his name to a colleague last week. In later life, we didn’t see each other often, but I often thought about our early life adventures and about his CFCN T.V. work.
I always liked Glenn, I also knew his parents Vi & Harold well. Unfortunately, I will be out of Canada on December 28, 2010.
Best wishes at this difficult time.
Phil S. Bazant
