I came to know Arno over 4 years by singing with him. He helped me out with the refreshments for our choir events tirelessly and made many shopping trips on behalf of our choir. I got to know him a little better by flying back from Europe on the same plane with him. (His grandson was with him and my same-aged daughter was with me.) Arno was a blessed addition to this world and his absence now will be a subtraction felt by many. I can’t ease the pain of those left behind but I can say I was glad to have known him.
