Dear Brent,
It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of Betty! She was a lovely lady and always so concerned about you and Bob. I know that you will miss her greatly. Please remember that you are in my thoughts and I hope to see you sometime soon! toujours, Stel
Dear Brent and Bob,
I was very sad to hear that Betty had died and have since been flooded with memories of all the fun and silly things she did with us as kids and then with our kids. I remember her making a very big deal of my 10th birthday. I was a “double digit” and she let me skip school and took me out for crepes downtown. Her rootbeer floats were famous in our family and we all loved our big summer family birthday party with the barrel filled with ribbons and balloons. She was a grandmother to me and Justin and Nicholas and we will miss her. Our condolences to both of you. Lynne, Justin and Nicholas

Dear Brent and Bob,
I wanted to send you my sincere condolences at this difficlt time. I left a message for you but wanted to take the time to write about how much your mom meant to me and to my family. She was wonderful to me all my life and I was glad that my kids had the chance to know her(especially when we were in Florida). This week end, my kids shared a memory about riding in the golf cart picking grapefruits and oranges with “BB” while Helena helped with Christmas decorations. We will all miss her. Our deepest sympathies to you both.
John and family.
Dear Brent & Bob
When we attended Strathcona together your family did me a huge favor by taking me with you to stay and ski in Banff. I have always remembered your Mother checking in the a.m. to insure we all had our gear ready to go. At night we enjoyed hot chili and lots of fun. Today I live in Banff largely as a result of the great experience provided by your family organised by your Mother. Memories make us imortal.
Best Wishes to All Spaiths

Dear Brent and Robert
Jack and I were very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. We all certainly have wonderful memories of her. It’s very hard when you lose a parent and we want you to know that we’re thinking of you at this very sad time.
Sincerely
Jack and Dianne
Dear Brent, I was saddened to hear of the death of your mother and send you my sincere sympathy.
She was my neighbour in Rutland House and on two occasions invited me to lunch at the Country Club which I very much enjoyed,
She also gave me some beautiful little needlepoint mats she had made which are now in my antique doll’s house and which I treasure greatly Incidentally, I believe I may have taught you (if you went to Tweedsmuir) in 1964 as your name is familiar to me.
Very sincerely.
Jean Robertson.
