Obituary of JENSEN – Florence Lori

June 9, 1919 – December 16, 2010 Florence Jensen, born in Blackie, Alberta on June 9, 1919, passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice in Calgary on Thursday, December 16, 2010. A big Calgary Flames fan since the early eighties, she also enjoyed gardening and oil painting. Since arriving in Calgary in 1959 she owned and operated “Fashions by Florence” and her designs have been worn by many over the years. Florence will be dearly remembered by her children, Dale (Lavern) Jensen, Donna (Larry) McCarthy and Max Jensen; as well as her grandchildren, Lisa (Glen) Schrader and Shawn (Michelle) McCarthy, all from the Calgary area; her brother Gerry (Shirley) Murphy of Elnora, Alberta and her beloved Pomeranian Daisy. At Florence’s request there will be a private family graveside service.
