Obituary of HALL – Eleanor Carol-Anne

August 7, 1935 – December 16, 2010 Eleanor Carol-Anne Hall of Calgary passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the age of 75 years. Carol was born in Calgary, attended Western Canada High School, and was a proud Calgarian, living here for most of her life. She loved the city, and was proud to have been a Stampede Princess in 1954. Carol married Don Hall in 1956. Together they had two children, their son Donald Clarke was born in 1957, and daughter Linda Diane in 1961. Carol began her career with Woodward’s in the early 70’s, and later moved to The Bay. She retired at the age of 72 from Revenue Canada. Her passion was a good game of poker with family and friends and her personal motto was ‘Live, Love, Laugh’. Carol is survived by her son Don; daughter Linda and son-in-law Laurie; grandson Tyler and his wife Chris, and their daughter Halle; granddaughter Candace, her husband Courtney, and their daughter Chloe; and granddaughter Carley. She is also lovingly remembered by three brothers, James, David and Bill; and many life-long friends. Carol was predeceased by her parents and her brother Robert.
