Obituary of COLLINS – Mary

January 7, 1918 – December 15, 2010 Mary Collins of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the age of 92 years. Born in England, January 7, 1918, Mary spent forty years of her life teaching in Ontario, N.W.T., and Alberta. Seventeen of those years were at St. Anthony’s School in Calgary. Mary is survived by her loving daughter Maureen Collins, son-in-law Grant Besplug, grandsons Mitchell and Patrick Besplug, her sister Kay Savill and her half brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and John Connor; husband James “Jim” Collins and her sister Elizabeth Connor. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (5340 – 4 Street S.W.) on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
