Obituary of MARINESCU– Ethel

April 10, 1930 – December 11, 2010 It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Ethel Marinescu; beloved mother, sister, aunt and grandmother on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Ethel was born in Regina, SK on April 10, 1930. She was the eldest of seven children to John and Helen Vasile. She married John Marinescu in 1952. Together they started a family in Ontario, but moved west to Alberta to start another dream. Ethel and John raised three children. Ethel will be lovingly remembered by her sons John and Randall; daughter Michelle; and daughter in law Beleyou. She was also overjoyed to be a grandma to Johnny and Danny, a constant delight in her life. She is also survived by sisters Sylvia, Elaine, Mary, Diane and brother Joe. Ethel was predeceased by her parents and her sister Anne. Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering to Celebrate Ethel’s Life at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, December 16, 2010 commencing at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m..
