Obituary of Lee SIMUS

After a long, happy, and fulfilling life full of love, Lee Simus, beloved wife for 52 years of Jeff Simus of Calgary and daughter of Dean and Evelyn Hammond , passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the age of 74 years. Lee was born in Del Norte, Colorado and married Jeff in1958. They resided in Texas until 1965 when they moved to Calgary. Lee is survived by her loving husband, Jeff; her daughter, Jennifer Fisher; her son, Monty Simus; her grandson, Zephyr Simus; and her sister, Sue Spencer. Lee was a generous, kind woman who retained her spirit and desire to help others to the very end, and she will be dearly loved and missed by all who knew her. You will remain in our hearts forever, and we will cherish our many memories until we meet again. At Lee’s request, a private family memorial will be held at a future date.
