Obituary of HUGHES – Lynda Ann

1937 – 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lynda Hughes at the Sarcee Hospice on Thursday, December 9, 2010. After a lengthy illness, she passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was predeceased by her son, Michael, on December 14, 2007. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Kevin, and her children Terri (Brian), Chris (Kim), Jennifer (Mark), and Bryan (Holly), also by her grandchildren Sarah (Troy), Krystle (Adrien), Kevin (Hailey), Ian, Curtis, Bobby, Seth and Joshua; and great grandchildren Markus and Edmund. She is also survived by her brother Roger (Heather) and dear friend Carol (Lea). Lynda loved camping and the outdoors; she especially loved Banff. She will always be remembered for her amazing love and complete devotion for her family. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church (321 – 90 Avenue S.E.) on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
