Condolences
To Those I Love and Those Who Loved Me
When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had many years.
I gave to you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you have shown,
But now it’s time I travelled on alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust,
It’s only for a time that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away, for life goes on,
So, if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see me or touch me,
I’ll be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear,
All my love around you; soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone
I’ll greet you with a smile and say,
“Welcome Home”

Dear Kerry & Family:
Although our paths did not cross for very long in this life, Donna made my heart warm and she could always put a smile on my face.
We connected immediately with something in common, both coming to Calgary from London Ontario. From there it didn’t take much.
Our time was spent together performing our duties at a multitude of Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta functions to volunteering for numerous casinos for JASA and Between Friends (laughing together as Kerry ate his 4th hotdog!)
My thoughts and prayers are with you Kerry and I’m glad you two were together until the very end. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing that Donna is free from pain, able to smile again and will always be with you, I’m sure.
Kathy (a.k.a KLR)
Kerry,
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
Take care.

Dear Donna and Family:
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
May you find comfort from this poem written by Terri McPherson:
“I am Not Gone”
I am not gone, I am changed.
Have faith and please believe me.
God did not take me away from you.
He split the skies and received me.
Now…
I am an echo in your laughter,
a reflection in your tears,
an extra thread of strength
to help you overcome your fears.
I’m an added ray of sunshine,
more joy for you to share,
a fragrance of the life you live,
wherever you are…
I am there.
Sincerely,
Corinne Simser-Wagg
