Obituary of REMPEL – Lois Eleanor

November 10, 1924 – December 3, 2010 Lois Eleanor Rempel of Calgary passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Lois will be remembered as a loving and caring spouse, mother, nana, great-nana, and close friend to many. Lois is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jane and Doug Stewart of Bragg Creek, AB and Ann and Gerry Estep of Denver, CO; son David Rempel of Champion, AB; three grandchildren, Andrew (Lillith), Scott (Hille) and Meghan; and four great-grandchildren, Duncan, Finley, Cormac and newly arrived Eliza Jane; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Lois was predeceased by her husband of fifty-nine years Gerry; three brothers, Harley, Robert and Jack; and parents, Lottie and Thomas Henry. A gathering for family and friends will be held at Lake Bonavista Retirement Village (11800 Lake Fraser Drive S.E.) on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
