Obituary of HEPPNER – Frank

June 5, 1919 – December 3, 2010 Frank Heppner, beloved husband of Margaret of Calgary, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Frank was born in Laird, SK, the youngest of six children. He met Margaret while at Bible school, and on May 14, 1948 they were married. Frank served with the Canadian Sunday School mission in Choiceland, SK; they then moved to Two Rivers Bible School for seven years. He pastored the Evangelical Free Church for four years at Fosston, SK. They moved to Morley, AB where Margaret worked as a cook at the residential school and Frank was caretaker and also worked in construction. They moved to Calgary in 1967, and Frank worked construction for the next seventeen years. Frank was very proud of the fact that he helped change the Calgary skyline. Frank is survived by his wife Margaret, daughter Karen and Clarice and was predeceased by his son Oral in 1998. He is also survived by granddaughters Jacquie (Garid) of Hawaii; Chrystal (Ian) of Red Deer, AB. Frank will be remembered as a kind hearted, generous person, very amiable to strangers and friends alike. He is loved and will be missed by many. A Memorial Service will be held at First Evangelical Free Church (732 – 55th Avenue S.W.) on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
