Obituary of BELLAART – Nora Constance

March 31, 1936 – December 1, 2010 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Nora C. Bellaart. Nora passed away on December 1, 2010 at the age of 74. She is survived by her children, Richard, Tim (Vella), Darrell (Deirdre) and Kathy (Marcy); grandchildren Stephen, Karen and Lori. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; parents Marjorie and Tom Hale; brother, Victor Hale and daughter-in-law, Nadine. Nora had a very rewarding career with Canada Post. Before she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing the ukulele and sang like an angel with the McEwan Ridge Villas Choir. The family would like to thank all the staff at Unit 500 of Forest Grove Care Centre for their loving care that they gave Nora especially to Lilian Caspen, who treated Nora like her own mother. A gathering of friends and family will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Saturday, December 4, 2010 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
