Obituary of LANGRIDGE – Lorna Phyllis

It is with great sadness that we announce Lorna Langridge of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Lorna was born in Bawlf, Alberta and attended Camrose Lutheran College before coming to Calgary and working at United Grain Growers. She met Kenneth and they were married in 1947 and she lived in Calgary since that time. Lorna was an avid Flames fan and loved square dancing, camping and every family get together. Lorna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Louisa Langridge of Calgary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Brian McCord of Calgary, Brenda and David Bell of Sherwood Park; nine grandchildren, Gregg (Erin) Langridge, Kirsty (Jason) Zeer, Ryan (Jenna) Langridge, Vanessa (Greg) McWilliams, Brad McCord, Kari, Kayla, Chase and Dallas Bell; and nine great-grandchildren, Aidan, Collin, Brennan, Zachary, Austin, Raenna, Kaylyn, Kayden and Justin. She is also survived by sister-in-law Agnes Alveberg and her son Jim (Lydia) Alveberg of Vernon, BC. Lorna was predeceased by her husband Ken in 2004; a sister Maude and a brother Cliff.
