Obituary of OLD WOMAN – Ross Nuskonistaohsii – Three Calfs

March 14, 1955 – November 26, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ross Old Woman of Siksika Nation on November 26, 2010 at the age of 55 years. In his early years he did a lot of activities: hockey, baseball, bingo, hunting, fire fighting and carpentry. Ross was known for his sense of humour, humble and always ready to lend a hand. Ross will be missed by his siblings, Sandra, Curtis (Denise), Woodrow, Fanny (Len), Cheryl (Joe) and Myra; uncle Ed Turning Robe; aunts Christine, Daisy (Ferris) and Rose (Harry), numerous nieces and nephews as well as the Olds, Old Woman, Axe, Brass, Turning Robe, Rabbit, Breaker, Medicine Travellers, Red Gun families. He was predeceased by his parents Caroline Olds and Raymond Medicine Traveller; adopted parents Beatrice Turning Robe and Mike Catface; daughter Jay Mcmaster; siblings Wanda Olds and Glenn Turning Robe. The family apologizes to anyone they may have missed. Wake Services will be held at Siksika Community Centre on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Siksika Community Centre on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow Canon Stockton Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
