Obituary of WESTERGARD – Orla

July 18, 1926 – November 24, 2010 Orla Westergard beloved husband of Delphine (nee Rohl)of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the age of 84 years. Orla was born in Denmark and immigrated to Canada with his parents when he was two. He was a career soldier who enlisted with the Army in 1942 and served until his retirement in 1979. Orla is survived by his loving wife Delphine, two grandsons Jason (Alexa) Campbell and Tyler Westergard, great grandson Brody Campbell, mother-in-law Florence Rohl, brother Lee (Janette), brothers-in-law Manfred Rohl, Ivan Rohl, Jerry (Linda) Rohl, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Lorraine Campbell in 1976 and his son Larry Westergard in 1998. A private family Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
