In our younger days when working together I often felt Joe [being a “bit” older and senior in rank] was “looking after me” [ a big job].I have fond memories of and value his friendship.
I hope you are well and coping without him.

To the Delany Family in Calgary.
Michael and Kathryn Delany and family of Gaulstwon House Dunshaughlin offer you our deepest sympathy on behalf of all the family here on the passing of Joe. We will remember you all in our thoughts and prayers. Michael’s late father, Keven Delany, would have been a second cousin of Joe.
Dear Markie and family:
When I think of Joe, I think of the perfect picture of an Irish Man… wearing the ‘green’…twinkling eyes, mischievous smile and ready to ‘ding’ the unwary (all in good humor, of course, as he was too kind for it to be otherwise). We do not meet many friends like Joe in a lifetime and he leaves a big space….Love and stuff…Cathy and Earl Hansford
Was saddened to learn of Joe’s death, and send my condolences to his family. I knew him through his sister Colette with whom I worked in Philips. He was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.
Markie,

Dear Marlie:
I’ve always had the utmost respect for Joe and his departure from our world leaves a huge vacuum. Although he stuggled valiantly with all of his afflictions, he is finally at rest.
We will all miss his no nonsense demeanor.

I am saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. I worked with Joe in Edmonton. He would have known me by my previous married name of Sabatier. He was such a good, kind man and he treated me more like a daughter than a co-worker. He always treated me with the utmost respect and always saw the good side of all those he came in contact with. I am sure that all who knew him would say the same. I am sure everyone of you will miss his infectious smile. My heart & prayers are with all of you in this difficult time. God bless.
Dear Markie, Coleen, Patrick and families,
We are thinking of you all at this very sad time; of what a lovely man Uncle Joe was, and of what great memories we all share.
May he rest in peace.
With love
Jennie, Jim, Zoe, James and Amy
