Obituary of WALKER – Ada Henrietta

September 23, 1922 – November 23, 2010 Ada Walker passed away peacefully at the Beverly Centre Midnapore on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Ada was born on September 23, 1922 in Seven Persons, Alberta and was raised in Medicine Hat along with her two brothers, Lorne and Lloyd. She married Grant in 1949 and moved to many towns in Alberta for Grant’s career with CIBC, ending up in Calgary in 1965. Ada enjoyed gardening, and playing bingo and bridge with her friends and neighbours in Varsity Acres. Ada is survived by her loving daughters, Gae (Ric) Freeborn and Lori (Brian) Pinter, all of Calgary; six grandchildren, Kelly, Tim (Clarabelle), Amanda, Steven, Michael, and Christopher; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Tegan. Ada was predeceased by her husband of fifty-four years, Grant on October 22, 2003 and daughter, Sue on June 10, 1989.
