Obituary of OWENS– Kenneth Ken

November 25, 1930 – November 23, 2010 We are sad to announce the passing of Kenneth “Ken” Owens beloved husband of Eva of Calgary, on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the age of 79 years. He was a pipe fitter by trade and a gentleman by nature and was an avid sports fan. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife, six children, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Besides his loving wife and best friend, Eva (Cox), Ken is survived by daughters, Wendy (Owens) Hyde and family, Jill (Owens) Dahlberg and family, Helen Cox and family, Terrie Cox and family, Shelly (Owens) Schneider and family; son Steven Cox; and his brothers George and family in Australia and Tom and family in England. He was predeceased by his first wife Beryl, mother of Wendy and Jill and his parents, George and Evelyn Owens. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
