Condolences
Dear David, Berna and boys;
We can not imagine the grief that your family is experiencing during this tragic time. You are in our hearts, and we will be thinking and praying for you during the Christmas season.
Philip and Ruth Paul from Napanee
Dave & Family,
I’m very sorry this note comes so late and that I was unable to attend the memorial or the ceremony as I was on vacation for the second half of November.
Needless to say, I was shocked and deeply saddened upon hearing the news of Stephanie’s passing. I did not know Stephanie that well, only to have spoken in brief conversation at work events and passing in the hallways. That being said, one didn’t need to spend that much time getting to know Stephanie to learn that she was a genuinely kind individual with a heart as big as her smile.
I hope that your family finds comfort in one another and in Stephanie’s memory at this time and during the upcoming holiday season.
I am truly very sorry for your loss.
Dave & family… please accept my very inadequate condolences on the loss of your smart and beautiful daughter.
Kim Steacy (Ferguson), LCVI Alumni

As the father of a teenage girl, I just wanted to let you know that every time I saw Dave and Stephanie together at work or going for lunch it always brought a little joy to my day. It wasn’t hard to see the love and closeness you shared. My condolences to your family and my prayers that you will find peace in this difficult time.
Dianne and I want you to know how sorry we are to hear of Stephanie’s passing. We hope you can take solace in the many happy memories you have of her.
Our deepest sympathies, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
As I scrolled through the people who passed away, looking for Stephaine, I noticed that they were all old people. Someone as young as Stephanie should not be in this group. It is truly a tragedy…my heart goes out to your family. Your closeness will help you through this – take care of each other.
Love Terri
I did not think there were any words that could be shared to ease the sorrow of Stephanie’s passing. I was wrong. At Stephanie’s Tribute the Saul family found the right words and demonstrated their strength as a family by sharing stories of their life and Steph’s life as a beautiful daughter, sister and friend. Stephanie’s life shall always be remembered through the sharing of memories. Thinking of you.
Michelle
Dear Michael and the Saul family,
I was saddened to read about the death of Stephanie. It is difficult to even imagine how heartbreaking her passing is to you all. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that you are in my prayers at this difficult time.

I would love to send my heartfelt condolences to your entire family. We have never met but we lost our son Justin 2 months ago who also went to Bishop Grandin High School at the same time as your daughter. We are not sure if they knew each other. No words can ease your pain but remember God has a plan for everyone and I believe your daughter is in a better place just like our son Justin.
Our sincerest condolences to you all. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and that caring is all around you. Many others are also thinking of you and adding their strength to yours during this difficult time.
Stephanie was always a very friendly person. I believe she had a great heart, and I know she’ll be dearly missed. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
Dave, Berna, Michael and Andy,
You are in our daily thoughts and prayers. We love you
Dave and family, may God be with you during this time. Although I did not know Stephanie she seemed like an amazing daughter and person! My heatfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. John
Not only was Stehpanie a motivated, smart, young engineer with a positive attitude poised to have a great career, she was one of the nicest all round young ladies many of us have ever met. The entire company and many outside of the company in the oil and gas industry are shocked and grief stricken by her passing. The world has lost one of its bright lights who in a very short period of time positively touched so many. Please do not feel alone at this time for there are many hearts and tears with you and your family at this incredibly sad time.
Dave and family.
My prayers are with you and your family at this very trying and sad time. My heart aches for you.
Dear Dave, Berna, Michael and Andy,
Words seem inadequate in the sadness I feel in the sudden passing of your beloved Stephanie. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.
Vella

I taught Stephanie in grade 12. She stood out to me as an extremely dedicated and capable student. It’s incredibly sad to me to hear of her death and I’d like to offer my condolences to her family, in particular.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My heart goes out to the family in this time of sorrow. May sun shine through your hearts and her beautiful memories help you heal.
To the Saul family, I first met Stepanie when she participated in a field trip to an area north of Rocky Mountain House with the rest of the summer students for Penn West, three summers ago. She struck me as a very smart and sure person, who had a thirst for knowledge. When I visited Calgary I would bump into her around the office and she was always quick to say hi, smile and engage in a conversation. I cannot imagine how you must feel at this time, but please be assured that you have raised a quality individual. My condolensces to all of you.
I am writing to express my deep sadness about the loss of your daughter Stephanie. I was her Professor at the UofC in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, in the Schulich School of Engineering, and I came to know her very well. She was always diligent in her work, but with a permanent smile on her face. This is how I will always remember her.
Dave and family, my thoughts go out to you, there are no words that can ease the pain so I will not even try, lean on your friends/family, they will be there for you, I know…. Thinking of you right now.
Dave,
At this time of sadness and heartache may I offer my condolences and let you know my thoughts are with you and your family.
Stephanie was a sweet, and ambitious person, her smile will be deeply missed around work, our condolences go out to her family.
Dave and family,
My deepest condolences to you Dave and your family. I saw Stephanie as a bright, shiny star, ready to take on the world. She will be missed.
To Dave & Family,
I am so sad to hear the passing away of your daughter. Although I did not know Stephanie, I’ve heard so many positive things about Stephanie and the lasting impression she had on everyone at Penn West who knew her.
My thoughts and prayers are with you & the rest of your family as you go through this ordeal.
Dave and Berna,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God be with you and your family during this difficult time.
Rosanna
Dave, Berna and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss of Stephanie. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Dear Dave and Family,
I am very…very sorry for your loss, my deepest prayers and thoughts are with you all…and I offer my condolences.
Stephanie will be missed by so many…so sad
I still remember the day she ended up on our floor and you told me to keep an eye on her to keep the engineers at bay when she was a summer student.
She was so beautiful both inside and out. Her smile was infectious and she always brought out the best in everyone around her.
Not sure what to say except I’m deeply sorry for your loss because I truly feel the world lost one of it’s greatest treasures. You can however take some comfort in knowing she left this world peacefully and that flights of angels will sing her to her rest.
Love, Thoughts and Prayers to you and your family.
Dave, Berna and Family
