Obituary of PETERSON – Barbara Ann

July 5, 1932 – November 19, 2010 Barbara Ann Peterson beloved wife of Kenneth Peterson of Calgary, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Barbara was born in Bromley, Kent, England and immigrated to Toronto in 1955. She met Ken in Toronto and they were married on May 12, 1956. They moved to Calgary in September, 1956 and have been residents here ever since. Barbara was employed for many years with the Royal Bank as well as with the Toronto Dominion Bank. Barbara loved to travel, especially going to Vancouver for summer vacation. She was an avid Bingo player and as well, had a special fondness for her cats. Barbara is survived by her loving husband Ken, two daughters Coral Peterson and Sherri (Paul) Nickel all of Calgary, and a sister Daphne Smith of England.
