Condolences
This is kind of late, however, I moved from Calgary years ago, and only learned yesterday of Syd’s passing. I am truly saddened. We were friends in high school, and I will always remember her as the beautiful petite little blonde, so full of fun and laughter. She was just so sweet. My heartfelt condolences to her family.

Dear Kay and Sue,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Sydney. We became close friends while attending university in the States. We were both young and everything seemed so exciting! Sydney was a kind and supportive friend. At times over the years we lost touch with each other but whenever we did reconnect it felt as if no time had passed. The world will not be the same without her in it. I loved her and I’ll miss her.

A TRIBUTE TO SYDNEY – My Special Friend!
You’ve been my friend for 30+ years…
Through fun, laughter…and the tears!
Despite the distance when I moved back to Oz… (1997)
We kept in touch…just because…
She was a wonderful friend,
… sincere and honest… to the end.
We’ve played roles in many chapters of each others lives…
Without my friend Sydney – I may not have survived.
Good friends are the jewels of life – hard to find and impossible to replace.
Sydney was that special friend to me.
My sincere condolences to all the Dixon family.
You are in my thoughts, my heart and my prayers!
Take comfort in knowing – those who love will be reunited in eternity.
I will be there with “Angel Wings” – being reunited with her eventually.
Knowing Sydney – she will show me the “ropes”!!
Forever your friends!
