Obituary of RED GUN – Wacey Quinn

May 2, 1987 – November 13, 2010 Wacey Red Gun beloved husband of Trina Yellow Fly and father of Alonzo and Allison passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the age of 23 years. Wacey attended Siksika Nation High School, then graduated from Sequoia Outreach in Gleichen. He loved his sports to the fullest, hockey and basketball, due to injuries he no longer was able to play. He received training trade certificates in oil rig/pipeline/heavy constructions. He loved going to movies, downloading songs and taking video of his son. His son was his life and was looking forward to the new baby being born. Wacey is also survived by his parents, Rebecca Red Gun, Monica Wolf Child and Dean Many Guns; grandparents, John Red Gun, Robert Wolf Child, Cecile Many Guns, brothers; Jamie First Rider, Ricky Red Gun, Eric Red Gun, Brody Winnipeg, Desmond First Rider, Robbie Wolf Child, Justin Back Fat and Zack Wolf Child, Ty Yellow Old Woman; sisters, Shanelle Beebe, Camille Red Gun, Ipisowaahs Crop Eared Wolf, Samatha Wolf Child, Candace Bear Hat, Sherry Yellow Old Woman and Pearl Yellow Old Woman; Aunts, Roxy (Stan), Albertine (Sid), Faye, Marvine (Larry), Sandy (Hubert), Florence, Roberta(Dwane), Karen, Rosaria (Allen), Fran (Agar), Arlene (Olin); Uncles, Johnathon (Claudia), Scotty (Wanda), George, Keith (Melanie), Aaron (Dale), Edward, Edward (Bernice), Clarence (Jackie). He is also survived by his extended families, the Pretty Youngman, Red Gun, Many Guns, Wolf Child, Black Rider, Back Fat, Many Heads, Many Bears, Low Horn, First Rider, Winnipeg, Yellow Fly, Yellow Old Woman, Fox, Bull Bear, Rabbit Carrier, Axe, Big Tobacco, Solway, Medicine Shield, Scalplock and Two Horns. Wacey is predeceased by great grandfather, Edward Wolf Child Sr, great-grandmother Albertine Low Horn, Grandmother’s Hilda Red Gun and Hazel Wolf Child, grandpa Matthew Many Guns, brother/cousin Ryan First Rider, Adopted grandparents Noella and Peter Winnipeg. Wake Services will be held at Siksika Community Centre Siksika Nation, AB on Thursday November 18, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Friday November 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m Graveside Service to follow at Little Chicago Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
