Obituary of BYE – Douglas Doug Arnold

September 17, 1950 – November 12, 2010 Douglas “Doug” Arnold Bye, beloved husband of Theresa Bye of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the age of 60 years. Along with his beloved wife Theresa, Doug is lovingly remembered and missed by children, Richard John Bye and Jae Fortier-Bye; daughter-in-law Jessica Osborne; soon-to-arrive grandson Jackson Douglas Fortier-Bye; sister-in-law Myrna Bye; nephews, Christopher and Matthew Bye, and niece Diana Bye. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Thelma and Arnold Bye; brother John Bye; and nephew Thomas Bye. Doug was born in Naicam, Saskatchewan on September 17, 1950 to Thelma and Arnold Bye. He and Theresa were married on February 14, 1987. Doug enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, bow hunting, working around the house and on his family’s cars with his beloved black lab Mindy, and watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders beat the Calgary Stampeders. Doug was very proud and excited about being a grandfather for the first time. Theresa and Doug enjoyed camping in their fifth wheel trailer, spending time with their two sons, and preparing for the arrival of their grandson Jackson Douglas A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
