Obituary of FERRABY – Gordon Frederick

July 12, 1915 – November 11, 2010 Gordon Frederick Ferraby of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on November 11, 2010 at the age of 95 years. Gordon was born in Maple Creek, SK on July 12, 1915. He grew up in Maple Creek then moved to Countess, AB district at the age of twenty-two. He moved to Bassano where he operated the International Harvester dealership and later ranched east of Drumheller in the Handhills and moved to the Calgary area in 1972 were he resided until his passing. Gordon is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Gordon Connally; sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Norman Dalsto; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who enjoyed visiting with him and hearing stories of the early days. He was predeceased by his wife Mamie; older brother George; and younger sister Eleanor; and his special friend Julia Clark.
