Dear Kathy and family
I was terribly saddened to hear of Larry’s passing. The world is a great deal poorer for losing him and my heart is very saddened. I give you my sympathies and my heart goes out to you and your family.
Love
Rand
Dear Kathy,
I am sorry to hear of your sudden loss.
I appreciate Mom as the matriarch to attend and we, siblings’s spirits are with you from afar.
Best,
Cathy
I am so sorry to hear about your family’s loss.
I had the pleasure of working with Larry and he was a thoughtful, softspoken and kind person who always spoke very highly of his family. Always willing to come and socialize with us, the age difference didn’t seem to matter. We were lucky to get to know him and he will be thought of often.
Dear Garth family,
Larry’s smile was a tribute to life, I could see it over the phone, every time he called down here (Caracas), he was so gentle and nice, he really was one of us, such a nice person. When he worked down here he always was talking about his family and how much he missed and care about them, that says very much about him.
We have to be glad to have the opportunity that we could meet a such a great guy in our times.
My Love and prayers are with you!
Annie

Dear Garth family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the lost of a great person as Larry was. He was an exceptional colleague that with a minimum effort reached our hearts, for his charisma and joy, always with enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge.
I will always remember him as a great friend.

Both, Dubert and I had the fortune of meeting and working with Larry. He was always the happiest, and most comforting person around the office. I was also fortunate of working with him abroad; I will never forget how Larry cheered me up so I wouldn’t miss home too much when we were in Venezuela. Being away from home wasn’t easy for me but Larry was always there with a big smile; he did not mind going shopping with me (and that is a lot to say) and always took me along when he was having dinner with one of his many friends in Venezuela.
(Dubert typing) This Venezuela trip was also when my friendship with Larry began, much before meeting him in person. Since Andrea did not have a mobile phone I used to call to Larry’s cell to talk to her; he did not seem to mind how often I called nor how long the calls were, he just seemed to find the situation funny. Sometimes they would not be together or Andrea would be busy (like the time Larry went with her to the beauty salon…) so Larry and I would chat for a while. “What a nice man he is!” I used to tell Andrea; I really enjoyed talking to him to the point that sometimes Andrea would pick up the phone and I would tell her “I was actually calling Larry, can I talk to him for a minute?” These are great memories for us which marked the beginning of a friendship with a great human being.
He was an awesome person, with a warm heart and a free spirit that made everyone around him feel special.
We will certainly miss Larry a lot, he was always very special to us and we will pray for him so he rest in peace.
Andrea, Dubert and Martín
Dear Kathy and family,
We are so saddened by your loss and lost for words. I was very touched by your children’s words of a great father and man. You were so blessed for having such a husband, Kathy.

Dear Ruth,
Margaret and I were very saddened to hear of the sudden death of Larry. Although we only met briefly during our respective assignments in Pakistan, he was held in the highest regard by friends and colleagues.

Dear family,
I know there is not much that no one could say right now to take away the pain you feel for your loss. We had the pleasure of knowing your dad and loving him like a great friend… His smile and humble character was not something you would expect to have in such and smart guy… His Latin personality always made him popular and loved among our clients and colleague… For us to see him leave so soon is very hard and he will always be in our memories but more than that in our hearts.
I had the pleasure of meeting you guys and realized he and Kathy also raised one of the most loving and beautiful families I have ever met… Be always happy of having the luck of having such a lovely father and husband as we are of having met him!
Always your friend,
Carlos
Although I only new Larry through his work for less than one year, I will always remember his smile and gentle nature. My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.
Dear Kathy, Mike, Rob and Lisa,
We were all sorry to hear about the loss of Larry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

The world has lost a great mind.
Colleagues lost someone they could rely on.
I lost a dear and true friend.
You will be missed for your humble helpful and friendly advice. You left us way too soon my friend but you will never leave our memories. You left a hole that cannot be filled and though time may heal may it never take away our fond memories of a great man.
RIP Larry Garth

Dear Garth Family,
Our thoughts are with you during this sad, sad time. Although we didn’t know Larry very well, many of the outstanding qualities Mike displays–loyalty, good humour, reliability–were no doubt imparted to him by remarkable parents. Mike, Rob and Lisa are a great legacy for who must have been a very fine father and husband, and for that we are grateful.
Our love,
Brad & Jody
Mike,
Our thoughts are with you and the entire family.
Chris, Steph, Bella and Quinn Goddard
Mike – How sad that your dad’s life was taken so suddenly. If he was anything like you, I’m sure he had a life well lived – full of family, friends, and smiles. I’m sorry that I won’t be able to attend the memorial service in Calgary on Saturday. We’ll be thinking of you back at the brewery and send our very best to you and your family. Much love, Sybil
Michael
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your Mom and family during this very sad and difficult time.
Deepest Sympathy
Joan & Dave Goddard (Brad & Chris’ Mom and Dad)
Kathy we are in shock. Please know whatever help our sympathy can bring is yours in abundance. For the last couple of weeks have been thinking of you both and thinking it’s been far too long and we should get together. Obviously so very sorry we put that off. David has to do call Saturday but I will certainly be there, and again we are so very sorry for you and with you and Mike, Rob and Liz, to have lost Larry’s gentleness, intelligence and sweetness.
Sherrill
We are so sorry for your loss. Regards, Grace & Joe
