Obituary of GRUNDY – Elsie

August 15, 1923 – November 10, 2010 Elsie Grundy passed away peacefully in her sleep at the McKenzie Towne Retirement Residence on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the age of 87 years. Elsie was born on August 15, 1923 in Carlisle, England. Elsie immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba in April 1954 with her husband Eric, son Barry and daughter Diane. She spent many years working in downtown Winnipeg at Eaton’s Department Store selling Revlon products. Elsie was dedicated to her family and was a great role model for her children and grandchildren. Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her sister Sylvia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Sharon and Jeff and Penny; one daughter Diane; grandchildren, Chris (Heidi), Kyle (Kirsteen), Nicole and Sean; and her great-grandchildren, Nathan and Kira. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Eric; sisters, Mary, Anne and Lorna; and her brothers, William, Stanley, John and Ronald.
