Obituary of BULL – Beverly Joan

April 24, 1933 – November 8, 2010 Beverly Joan (Gran) Bull, beloved wife of Victor of Calgary, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010 at the age of 77 years. Bev (Gran) was born in Nichol Township, Wellington County, Ontario on April 24, 1933. Her family moved west in 1934, eventually settling in Calgary in 1942. Upon graduating from Western Canada High School, Bev worked as a long distance telephone operator for AGT. Bev married Victor in 1954 and was thrilled to move into their new home in Millican Estates in 1958. Bev and Vic became active members in the community, taking on numerous roles. Bev enjoyed dress-making, decorating cakes, baking for school fundraisers, and helping with the United Church fall suppers. She spent many weekends and vacations enjoying family camping trips, trips overseas, tropical holidays, an Alaskan cruise, and various bus tours. She loved sitting around a bonfire with family and friends enjoying many campfire songs. Bev’s memory will live on in her family and friends that she held dear to her heart. Besides her loving husband Victor, Bev is survived by her children, Vicki (Al) McPhedran, Glenda (Fred) Roessler, Carol Lock and Doug (Tracy) Bull; eight grandchildren, Patrick (Brittany), Jen (Steve), Chris, Brad (Katrina), Sandi (Doug), Mike, Kyrsten (Mike) and Kaitlyn; three great-grandchildren, Aniyah, Tegan and Kaidyn; and niece and travelling companion Carolyn Roblin. She is also survived by her brothers, Don (Donna) Ewing and Ken Ewing; sisters, Shirley Harris and Marilyn (Ron) Stothers; and a large extended family of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Kathy in 1996. A Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held at the Ogden Legion (2625 – 78th Avenue S.E.
