Condolences
Dear Peggie,
I extend condolences to you at this time of your deep sorrow. Bern was a true gentleman and made a host of friends during his lifetime. He was well respected and certainly accomplished many things in a very profient way.
I wish you well in the time ahead.
Sincerely,
Cameron Lee
As I always said anyone who did not like Jim Cotsworth did not like anyone!
That was the man that I knew for over 35 years. Our relationship started out as
a business relationship but extended into a personal one. We worked together
and we played together travelling to the coast on business and getting some
fishing and gourmet dining in while there. Of course the prime object of the
trips was always the business issues we had to resolve to the satisfaction of
he and Sultran. But always the wit of my dear friend Jim seemed to enlighten
all in attendence that business dealings could always be compatible.
Then came retirement! Jim and I expanded our friendship to include Peggie and
my wife Jan more then did while working. We attended the theatre at the Jube,
dined out and found a bit of time to check out the local casinos – on very rare
occasions of course.
I will always remember our last trip to the coast – and I Promised Peggie I would
take good care of Jim – was June 2008. Our good friend Gary Thompson in
Vancouver took us on his boat “Kalihi”, a 48 footer, and we cruised up to Indian
Arm and overnighted on the boat. A lot of crib was played and money changed
hands but a super time was had by all. Jim was tired out when I got him back
to Calgary but I will never forget the huge smile he had on his face when I got
him home to Peggie.
Jim was a dear friend and I have so many memories that I will cherish for the rest of
my lifetime. God bless you Jim and rest in peace.

Jim was a wonderful person who contributed much to those he came in contact with through his joie de vive, thoughtfulness and decency. We will miss him , but will always cherish the many memories of good times together both at work and play. We are better for having known him. Our thoughts and sympathy are very much with Peggie and her great loss
