Obituary of TIBAI – John

September 11, 1919 – November 5, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Tibai, after a lengthy illness. He leaves to mourn, his loving daughter Ethel Torok (Vince); son John of Hungary; his loving grandchildren, Mariana (Jerry), Vince (Kathy), Vicki (Darwin) of Calgary, Anita (Peter), Julianna (Csaba), and John Jr. of Hungary; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two sisters; and many relatives of Hungary. John was predeceased by his loving wife Ilona; grandson Robert John; mother and father; two brothers; and two sisters. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date in Hungary.
