Obituary of CAMPBELL – Olive Elizabeth Kerr

March 31, 1925 – November 4, 2010 It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Olive, beloved wife of Bill of 56 years, at her side. Olive is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Don) Maxwell, son Bill (Nancy) and her cherished grandchildren that were her pride and joy, Donny, Laura and Meghan Maxwell and Ashleigh Campbell. Olive was born and lived her entire life in Calgary and was proud to be a Native Calgarian, she also leaves to mourn family in Scotland and Australia. Born to immigrant Scottish parents Olive carried on the traditions of highland dancing and piping her entire life, founding the Kinsmen Brigo’doon Girl’s pipe band. She was the proud recipient of the Alberta Centennial Medal for many years of volunteering and service to the community. Olive’s love for her family and friends was everlasting; she provided a home that was always warm and welcoming. Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
