Obituary of Kenneth Morton JONES

May 1927– November 2010 Ken Jones, beloved husband of the late Lorraine Jones of Calgary, passed away peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Ken was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Ken was a Toronto Fire Fighter for thirty-seven years and retired as a platoon chief. Ken and Lorraine moved to Calgary in 1990 to reunite the family. He was an active pool player and enjoyed the outdoors. Ken’s passion in life was his family and he will be dearly missed by all. Ken, is survived by his two children, Greg Jones and Patricia Matchett; son-in-law Roderick Matchett; daughter-in-law Holly Jones; and five grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Andrew, Jennifer, and Caitlin. A private funeral service will be held. Extended thank you to the caring volunteers, staff and doctors at the Agape Hospice for their tireless support and dedication.
