Condolences
To the Donnelly Family,
We were sorry to here about Sparky’s passing. Sparky and Barbara shared many jokes & laughs when they visited the shop regularly for their hairdos. There was always lots of humor! I will cherish the memories. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Please accept our sincerest condolences.
Take Care , Gerald & Zina
Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mom “Sparky”. We had lots of laughs with Mary while she lived in Aulds Cove. I remember one year she dressed up as Santa Claus for the kids in Aulds Cove at the Fire Hall. Our son was only 15 months old and she made a house call to see him in her Santa suit. We still have it on a movie we took at the time. We always saw Mary and Barb together. Everytime I pass their house, I think of her. Our condolences to all.
Hey you guys,so sorry to hear about Sparky’s passing. We loved growing up across the alley from your whole family. I’m glad I got to see her in Costco a couple of years ago with Paula, she was a peach and will be missed.
On behalf of my wife Sonja and family I send heart felt christian sympathy to the son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers of the late Mary “sparky” Donnelly. We want all of you to know that we will keep you in our prayers now and in the days ahead, as you go through your time of mourning. May the God of Love, Peace and Joy dry the tear stained eyes so you can see the people around you whom love you and fill your broken hearts with peace and joy. May God Bless all with a special blessing.
Sincerely Alonzo (Lonnie)Reddick

Family: I just learned of Mary’s
passing and wanted to extend my sincere
condolences. Having been brought up in
Glace Bay, I knew of the Donnelly’s and
Rose Donnelly MacKay lived on Alexander
St, a neighbour of my Mom, Mary Wiseman.
As well Rose taught school with my twin
sister June in New Waterford. But mainly I wanted to express my condolences, because my husband Bill, former MLA cannot do so, having passed
away on Aug. l5, 2009. Martin and Mary
were great supporters and workers for
Bill during provincial elections, and he
was most appreciative of their efforts.
I am sure they travelled with him in the
early years to introduce him. It is
because of people like Martin and Mary
that Bill got to do a job he loved.
Sincere condolences and many thanks.
May she rest in peace.
Sincerely, Joan(Wiseman) Gillis
