Obituary of BURNS – Jean Margaret

January 22, 1930 – October 30, 2010

Jean Margaret Burns beloved wife of Bill of Calgary, died on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the age of 80 years.

Jean was born and raised on a farm near High River, AB. She attended St. Mary’s in Calgary, graduating in 1948.

Jean is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Bill; son David of Calgary; daughter Judy (Brent) McLellan of Oakville, ON; and two grandsons, Cameron and Jeremy McLellan. She was predeceased by her parents and sister Frances Halluk.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E. Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 5, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Jean’s Life is planned for later this month.
