Obituary of D’EATH – Graham Stuart

May 20, 1929 – October 21, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Graham Stuart D’Eath on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Graham was born in Calgary on May 20, 1929. Throughout his life Graham had a passion for sports – be it golf, curling, skiing, basketball, football, or baseball. He excelled as a pitcher in both the city and oil fastball leagues. Graham worked at Imperial Oil, retiring after thirty-nine years of service. Following his retirement, Graham spent much of his time golfing and developing his many friendships at the Inglewood Golf & Curling Club. Graham is forever the loving husband to his wife of fifty-eight years Muriel; and committed father to his children, Gordon (Janice Kozub), Valerie (Wayne), John (Kelly), and Jane (Sven). Grandpa will be dearly missed by eight grandchildren, Jillian (Clark), Mike (Justine), Stacey (Mike), Daniel, Jacob, Katherine, Erik, and Ethan; and great-grandson Theodore. He was predeceased by his son Gordon D’Eath; sister Valerie; mother and father Emma and Leonard; and step-father Bertram Millar. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
