Obituary of LIND – Richard Dale

December 9, 1958 – October 21, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Lind on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at his residence in Calgary at the age of 51. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his wife Teresa and greatly missed by his children Cody and Kelsea Lind, his parents Dr. John and Loreen Lind, his sister Jan (Bob) Veck and nieces Alyssa and Megan. Rick was an outgoing, very sociable person and impacted many through his job as a commercial insurance broker. Rick’s real passion lay in the outdoors; he was an avid hunter with his Springer Spaniels, a member of Pheasants Forever and a regular at the dog trials. Rick was also a gifted pianist and composer, spending many Sundays playing for the worship team at Church. With a flair for comedy and storytelling, Rick was always able to captivate an audience with his tales of adventure. Friends and family stretching from B.C. to Newfoundland will remember Rick’s fire and passion for life. A private Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 2010.
