I have just heard of your passing today! I am so shocked! The last time I saw you was at Raymond’s funeral. Ray and I lived across the street from you and Ena in Temple. We were great friends back then and unfortunately we lost Ena in your terrible auto accident. We all lost a lot of friends back then. My mother and I would run into you from time to time at bingo over the years. I remember when you brought Justin over to my house for lunch, he was about 5 or 6. Deepest sympathy to all of Ivan’s family!

It is honestly only now I am hearing of this! I just heard this morning!!

Well, like everyone said, I can not forget Ivan. May he rest his peace.

I met Ivan in Vietnam in 1994 and had a great time with him. He always made me laugh! He visited me in Holland in 1996. Later on we called occassionally, but over the years this contact faded.

I will never forget him.

I’m so sorry to find out that Ivon passed away.

I really liked working with him at Associated Cabs. He made me think about my actions and he also had a great sense of humour. He was so young and I’m sorry that his journey is over. I’m sorry to his family and relatives.

I’ll always remember him for something he said to me, that cracked me right up.

Even though it was years ago, I never forgot him.

I was as quite shocked and dismayed today when my brother Bob told me of Ivan’s sudden passing. I had not seen Ivan for some time however, when we were friends in the seventies’ I always admired Ivan for his inherent sweetness and gentle soul. He was by far one of the kindest men I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He strove to make everyone around him comfortable with his gentle humor. May Peace and warm memories give you grace to endure this time of grieving. May you be Blessed with Enduring Love and Compassion during this trial.

I have known Ivan since I was a child and loved when he came to the house to see my sisters! He became a dear friend to every single brother, sister and my Mom. We all enjoyed his company of joy and laughter. He will be missed…. My blessings go out to you all to have a son, brother, father and friend leaving us at a young age.
