Obituary of STROUD – Lynda

August 17, 1949 – October 19, 2010 Lynda Stroud of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the age of 61 years. Lynda was born in Melfort, SK and resided there until Grade 7, when she moved with her family to Three Hills, AB. When Lynda graduated from high school, she moved to Calgary where she met her husband. Lynda and Roy were married on August 15, 1969. Her purpose in life was her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Lynda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Bill Goods; her son and daughter-in-law, Del and Carisa Stroud; three grandchildren, Brett and Chase Goods and Shallon Stroud; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Marty McComb; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrna and Terry Jackson and Vernette and Myles Trentham; brother-in-law Herb Stroud; and nieces and nephews, Jason and Cam Schlinker, Krystal (Zack) Readwin, BJ and Troy Trentham. Lynda was predeceased by her husband Roy Stroud in 2001; and her parents Myrtle and Arnold McComb. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
