I worked with Dave for a few months in Edmonton. I thought he was tough on me but now looking back he was so right in his methods and objectives. I was just a few years into my IT career. I hold his values and prospectives today.

Dave and myself became good friends at Canadian Freightways. We lost track with each other but Dave is as true and honest as they come. People say that when I hear the band play, I hear a different tune than others. Dave and I share that trait. Smart and Great passion are the words I think of when Dave comes to mind. Til we meet again.

Having worked with Dave for several years I came to appreciate his intelligence and wit. We also became good friends and I again appreciated his different perspective on life. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.

Dave~ you were always one of my very best friends growing up in Lockwood Park in London. Although we lost touch over the last few years, I often thought of you with fond memories~ partying in your basement, (“Houses of the Holy” playing WAY too loud!) talking for hours on end, hanging out at concerts with Skip and watching Don Kirchner’s, Rock concerts at my house whenever I was grounded!! Dave and I would talk on the phone for hours. We discussed golf, dogs, politicians, our countries, music, and jokes, but most of all, David talked about his family. “He loved his family.” He had a big heart and compassion for his fellow man. I will miss our talks. Uncle Pat

I’ve known Dave for 40 years from when he and my brother Kyle became good friends in London. I see some of the old S. London gang here! Dave will never be forgotten…that is the truth. When I moved to Alberta in the early ’80s, we spent many weekends racing our bikes in the mountains and generally creating good-spirited fun. He was a great friend. I loved him like my own brother and am sad that we hadn’t kept in close touch in recent years.

As one of Dave’s many friends from London, we lost touch but never forgotten. I will always remember that extremely foggy night on the 401 when you took us home from the Rolling Stones concert in Hamilton in your 63 Impala with the thrush muffler, with no fear you got us home safe, I still think we WERE the only car on the road. Say hi to Skip when you see him.
