Obituary of HOPKINS – Arthur Glyn

September 13, 1938 – October 17, 2010 Arthur Glyn Hopkins (aka Bunka) of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the age of 72 years. Arthur was the rock of his family and of his neighbourhood, he will be remembered for his unending devotion to his wife and his unparalleled caring and concern for all his family and friends. Arthur will be forever in our hearts and will be so greatly missed by his family and friends. Arthur leaves behind his cherished and well-loved family including his wife Maureen, daughters Stephanie and Cynthia, grandchildren Adam (little man), Luke (little fella), and Chloe (little one), and son-in-laws Paul and Brian and his beloved dog, little Molly. Also sadly missing him is his brother Edward, sisters Valerie, Lynn, Wendy, Carol and Annette and his niece, nephews and grand niece and nephews and brother-in-law Jack. Arthur was pre deceased by his brother-in-law Steen. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. A gathering to celebrate Arthur’s life will follow at the chapel.
