Obituary of BRYANT – Donald William

May 18, 1924 – October 16, 2010 We want to announce the passing of long time Red Deer resident, Don Bryant at the age of 86 years. For over three decades, Don was a proud and active member of the Loyal Order of Moose. He had a long and happy retirement filled with friends, travel and his hobby of woodworking and painting. Most Saturday evenings one could find Don and Ruth at the Moose or Legion dances. He recently had the joy of experiencing his new great grandsons Derek DeBoni and Sulayman Sultan He will be greatly missed by his wife and dancing partner of sixty one years, Ruth Bryant, his daughters, Janice (Doug) Evans of Leduc, AB, Bonnie (Walter) Chmilowski of Calgary, AB; sisters Margret Mace of Innisfail, AB, Hazel Bryant, brother Dan (Velma) Bryant of Calgary; granddaughters Amanda and Britney Evans, Tanda Chmilowski and life partner Anwar Sultan, and Ginger (Neil) DeBoni, along with numerous nieces and nephews. At Don’s request, there will be no formal funeral services other than a small family gathering after interment. The family wishes to thank the exceptional staff at Agape Manor Hospice, along with Home Care Palliative nurses Cheryl and Kathy in Calgary.
