With sadness I learned of Adeline’s passing today. I will always remember Adeline as a dear friend of my Mom, Ruby McKay. After her passing, Adeline became a special friend to me. Our phone calls of catching up, reminiscing and garden talk, always brightened my day. I will always remember Adeline for her kindness, generosity and inspiration. Shawn,Kenton and girls. My heart is breaking as I write this to you. I just talked to your mom at Christmas so was in total shock to hear of her passing. I know she was looking forward to seeing you over the holidays and spending time with you. You’re mom was a great lady, kind and vibrant. She loved life but truly missed your dad. As much as I will miss her and our phone calls I can’t help but think she is living her life as she did before, pain free, gardening and with those who have been waiting for her. I will still talk to her and she will still be with us in our hearts, but I will miss her dearly. Never forget how much she loved her family. My deepest sympathies. Heather.

Shawn, Kenton and girls. Oh my. Deb and I just learned of your mother’s passing. I have many fond memories of your mother’s kind hearted, graceful approach to everyone and everything that came before her. We suspect that the garden she tended to on Broadview road in Esterhazy will have some unusually spectacular flowers springing to life this coming summer. May she rest in peace.
