Obituary of HUNT – Linda Louise

March 15, 1950 – October 9, 2010 Linda Louise Hunt, beloved wife of Jim of Calgary, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the age of 60 years. Linda was born in Swan River, Manitoba, and was raised in both Calgary and Okotoks. Linda graduated from Henry Wisewood High School and married Jim Hunt in 1969. In addition to being extremely devoted to her family, Linda also was a passionate and successful realtor. She took great pride and care in helping people to find a home, and was a continuous member of the Million Dollar Real Estate Club for over twenty-four years. After becoming a Grandma, Linda dedicated much of her time and energy to her grandkids. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, entertaining, decorating, shopping and travelling with her family. Linda will be sadly missed by those who loved her. Linda is survived by her loving husband Jim; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jamie and Heidi Hunt, Jason Hunt (Bonnie Chernenkoff); two grandchildren, Sydney and William Hunt; her mother Agnes Gustafson; two sisters, Donna Braun, Kim Gustafson (Bob Will); four brothers, Milton (Diane) Gustafson, Rick (Debbie) Gustafson, Al (Vicki) Gustafson, Evert (Janet) Gustafson, Jim’s parents, Marg and Gerry Dunmire; sisters-in-law, Jackie (Joe) Heater, Linda (Jack) Robinson, Bern (Ed) Saez, Nan Dunmire (Lenis Thokle); brother-in-law Lorne (Jeanette) Dunmire; as well as numerous very close nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Linda was predeceased by her father Bud Gustafson. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
