Obituary of THOMPSON – Joseph Victor

May 21, 1922 – October 8, 2010 On October 8, 2010, Joseph Thompson passed away at the age of 88 years, after a brave battle for his life at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, meanwhile longing to come home. The expression on Joseph’s face after death was one of peace by which we know that the Lord was there to meet him, fulfilling his promise in Psalm 23, that though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we shall fear no evil for the Lord is with us; and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Joseph is survived by his wife Rigmor. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
