Dear Gwen and family.
The best word for me to describe Jim is ‘Mentorship’. He is someone I looked up to and without a doubt I would not be where I am in life without him and his hard work. To me he seemed invincible. Thanks for teaching me soo much. I will never forget.
Dear Gwen,
We are shocked and sorry to hear about Jim. I’m glad I played a few games of golf with him in the last few years as it meant I got to know him better. I rarely saw him for the earlier twenty years or so when we were all working.
We will see you for the Service for him back here in Perth. If you need any help closing up the cottage for the winter let me know. I’ve had lots of practice closing mine, so I’m getting pretty good at it.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Brian and Kate

Gwen and family,
Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. Words really can’t explain how we feel, but I was sent this saying and thought I would share it with you.
“All that is past and all that is present seems meaningless when faced with the loss of someone who shared moments of time in my life” “All that remains is the love we shared and the fun we had and how they enriched my Life”
Betty, Gwen and Girls,
Losing someone is never easy especially at such a young age. I am really sorry for your loss. At times like these you have to lean on your faith and try to accept that God has a bigger purpose for us. May all the love that surrounds you give you strength.
May you take comfort in knowing there is one more angel above us.
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to Gwen, Betty,& family. We have very much enjoyed Jim at Otty Lake the past few summers. Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you at this sad time.

Gwen, it is with great sadness to hear of Jim’s passing. He was a great person and I very much enjoyed working for him at Jentek.
Thinking of all of you at this sad time. I only met Jim a few times but enjoyed his sense of humour and appreciated how kind he was to his sister Kelly. He and Gwen were well matched as they both were so great when meeting new people. You felt comfortable as if you had known them for a long time and could enjoy a few laughs with them. Such a loss.
Dear Stapleton Girls,
I am thinking of you all and wishing you strength and hope during this very sad time. What an extremely sad loss for you all and anyone who knew Jim.
Love and Prayers,
Karen
