Obituary of RAYNER – Robert Charles

August 14, 1944 – October 7, 2010 Robert Charles Rayner beloved husband of Marilyn of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the age of 66 years. Robert was born in the family home in Greenmount, PEI to Jean and Charlie Rayner. He was raised and received his education there as well. He later moved to Dartmouth, NS where he met Marilyn and married her there on September 21, 1963. They later moved to PEI where Robert continued his education to become a plumber, while at the same time continuing to be involved in other ventures. In 1990, they moved to Calgary where Robert began R and M Plumbing and Heating which he has continued to operate. Robert was a well respected man in his field and his community. He was a man of God in all aspects of his life. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends and business associates. Robert is survived by his wife Marilyn; two daughters, Starlene Rayner and Pamela Rayner; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Kimberley Rayner; two grandsons, Spencer and Griffin; one brother Paul, eight sisters, Ollie, Betty, Faye, Velma, Irene, Fern, Linda, and Marjorie and their families. Robert was predeceased his parents Jean and Charlie Rayner, one brother Wayne and one sister Alida.
