FAY – Robina “Jean” (nee Elliot) August 18, 1917 – October 6, 2010 With love and sadness we announce that Jean Fay passed away peacefully on October 6, 2010 at the age of 93. Jean Elliot was born on August 18, 1917 in Winnipeg, MB. She grew up in Saskatoon, SK and there she met and married Eric Fay in 1940. During their fifty-five year marriage, they lived in a variety of prairie cities. Their home was always a loving haven for all family members. Everywhere they lived they made warm and lasting friendships. We all appreciated Mom’s wisdom and humour and were inspired by her courage and determination in her later years. Life will not be the same without her. Jean is survived by three children: Nancy of Edmonton, John (Elley) and Meredith (Larry) all of Calgary; five beloved grandchildren: Laura (Jeff), Charles (Kristyn), Corinne, Craig and Lorne; and four great-grandchildren: Sarah, Amy, Isabella and Heidi. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Eric and her brothers Walter and Robert Elliot.
